Naveena’s Corporate Social Responsibility is a blueprint for achieving our vision to grow the business, whilst decoupling our environment footprint from the overall growth and increasing its positive social impact. Naveena Denim Mills fully supports education system and is currently running all expenses of more than 2 Schools with 1500 students of The Citizens Foundation with the plan of expanding this network to include 10,000 students in near future with Naveena’s support.

EDUCATION

145,000 children being educated in 1000 school units across 100 towns and cities all over Pakistan in 2014. 3,500 students are part of the successful matriculating alumni of the TCF career counselling initiative. Employment to 11,500 people including 7,500 staff members across the entire country 14,000 students mentored by 2,300 mentors in nine cities, through the Rahbar Program 23,000 adults became literate at the end of 2013 through Agahi Program. Admin Costs were 9.2% for 2012-13. Our future plans for our education initiative include the scaling up of this school as well as opening more schools to increase our capacity to 10,000 kids in the year 2017. In this manner we feel that we will not only be giving back to the future of the community around us but making Naveena a sustainable initiative for these kids to benefit from with its presence in their immediate environment.

We believe in education as a life line to the community that surrounds us and it is for this purpose that “The Riaz Tata campus of TCF” opened its doors to the children of Korangi IV sector in Karachi in 2004. Step out the conventional woven bottoms and evolve yourself into the world of Naveena’s innovative blend of style and comfort.
